Description

TEMPTING is a Non-Eugenol temporary Luting material self-curing under humidity for temporary fixation of crowns, bridges, inlay, and onlays. It is a single paste system and no mixing is required. The material is impermeable to drugs.

Composition

Zinc Oxide, Zinc Sulphate, Barium Sulphate ad excepient to make.

Applications

  • Clean enamel, dentine, and metal surfaces thoroughly, and do not dry completely.
  • Make sure not to leave any trace of other materials which could impair the properties of Tempting.
  • Take the required amount of Tempting in the wet crown/bridge. The abutment tooth should also be wet. Remember, Tempting sets in contact with moisture. So keep the abutment and crown/bridge wet while Tempting is very difficult to remove.
  • Remove excess Tempting with stiff cementing.
  • Probe and wash off with a 3-way syringe water jet.
  • The hardening process starts after a minute.
  • Avoid any exposure to chewing pressure for about 30 minutes after application.

Note

Due to sensitivity to moisture, close the tube immediately after removing the material required.
