CAVITEMP
Temporary Filling Material
Description
Cavitemp is a temporary filling material self-curing under humidity of temporary filling of cavities. The material is impermeable to drugs.
Composition
Zinc oxide, Calcium Sulphate, Zinc Sulphate, ad excepient to make.
Applications
Use an instrument to fill the required quantity into the wet cavity. The hardening process starts after a few minutes. Avoid any exposure to chewing pressure for about 2 hours after application.
Deep cavities need not be filled. If the material is used to close up a drug, pressure-free, the application is recommended.
Use a rotary instrument to remove the temporary filling. Remove the CaviTemp filling with a stiff probe.
Caution
Due to sensitivity to moisture, close the jar immediately after removing the material required.
